If you have not taken inventory of your life, I want to encourage you to practice the SEEP method. I designed and created a journal to help people get to know themselves. SEEP came from my journey of self-discovery. The SEEP method makes it simple to get to know ourselves, which is imperative for self-care and trauma recovery.
We must understand what we desire in this life. Too many people give up their own experiences and success to gain approval from someone who has no authorization to give.
Abuse victims do not have an opportunity to self-reflect and plan for prosperous futures. Abuse victims are held captive in a desire to be valued by someone who has no intention of ever caring for them.
Narcissistic abuse is so deceptive, and those who find themselves in its clench do not have the mental clarity to see a way out.
We must make the world a safer place for abuse victims to share an unbelievable situation and receive the care and attention they need to get healthy.
I am so fortunate to feel the support of the Lord, my husband, and the community where I live today. I can use my voice and share my reality, although not one person from my past has approached me with an understanding of something they all know is real.
A very tragic part of recovery is that those who would tolerate you in the past will have nothing to do with you if you lose your commitment to conform to the dysfunctional organism.
You can get away from narcissistic abuse; you must have a relationship with God and allow him to lead you to green pastures and Stillwaters. I don’t know how anyone can survive without Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Please know he died for you like he died for me. Read John 3:16.
